There is a position for an Internet Banking Representative in some bank in my country. Now these are the qualification they need Qualifications: Possess a strong background in Internet Banking or IT. * Solid understanding of Internet Banking product including marketing trends and techniques. * Strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills & excellent communication skills required. * Three years banking experience and at least one year in Internet Banking. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- My question here is, although I'm good in networking & database & I dont have any years experience in any previous similar position. Should I apply for the position ? if yes what should I say to convince them that I'm good for the job. I really need this. I think it might be a good opportunity for me. Wow. This does sound like a good opportunity. Perhaps when you apply, you could play up your other strong skills and any education, in addition to your networking/database skills. It may get you in for an interview, but I'm skeptical (unless they're desperate) that you'll be chosen without prior banking experience. Good luck!
