3 months back I have opened an store exclusively dealing in notebooks and desktop pc's. For 2 months I have got wonderful response but from the past 1 month sales is not picking up. I have used marketing strategies like posting advertisement in local magazines, newspapers and posting classifieds on internet. Same thing I am using now a days but there is sharp fall in responses.Our pices are normal and even we are giving extended warranties (Onsite) on every porduct along with free shipping. Can you suggest some marketing strategies or some other advices for our business?

Define your target markets and sell them solutions not notebooks and PC's. For example, I'm a busy business owner, always on the move. I use my travelling time to plan work, write books, deal with correspondence etc. If you pitched me for a notebook, I'd politely tell you to go away as there are always people trying to sell me things. However, if you approached me with a solution for dealing with correspondence while I'm on the move you'd probably get me attention. Think about the people who've bought your goods already and why they wanted them. Use that as your advertising pitch and target them closely. Don't use generalist publications like magazines and newspapers. They're too hit and miss. Go for the publications that your targets read and advertise in the places that they gather Good luck!
