I have a website (www.deluxeimport.com) that is a startup importing website going retail so we can offer the cheapest prices on high-quality stuff, but we don't have the millions of dollars for advertising. In fact, we have about $5.
How does a no-name company with some pretty good stuff get their name out on the internet?
PS: Site's still under construction, cause we have about 500 or so products to put up. As of current... We only have 8 posted.

Over the next few months I'll be researching and starting up a number of small businesses in Singapore. Some of these will be internet-based and some will be more retail-based businesses. Part of the startup process will be to reseach the market and I'll need some people to help out.
The kind of work I'm talking about would range from researching competition using Google, collecting statistics through government websites, and performing primary data collection through interviews and paper surveys of the public - things like asking people to fill in a questionnaire.
It's not glamerous work but can be very interesting, and could lead to something bigger. It'd be very suitable for a student in high school or university who has a bit of free time, wants to earn some extra money and work on something interesting. Is there any place to find people like this? Some kind of part-time job board, career center, university employment center, something like that?

I'm Novell Certified, been working with IT/Internet for 20+ years, no 4 year degree. Single mom.
I had a corporate job, but was told that I was never going to get a raise or promotion because I didn't have a degree.
I started my 1st biz in 1999, made afew hundred dollars, no marketing or ads just word of mouth -pretty good I thought. Worked part-time.
The I started my 2nd biz, my service: graphic design, again I got a few clients, but then came vistaprint.
3rd biz: Startup Consultant, help entrepreneurs legally form a biz and start Internet marketing, but startups don't pay, lost 9,000 in sales that year.
Then last year roof caved in home office 7 years of business equity incl. comuters laptops, printers, phones, supplies and furniture - ruined -gone. Dissolved Company.
Now on 4th biz, LLC, no clients, have a brand me, mia, Dot Com Diva +9 dotcoms!, +biz cards, Internet/office at p/t job, no money , no hardware no software no Internet at home.
Should I give up?

i want to make big money fast say 10,000$ in a short period but i dont have a penny to spare .so how do i do it fast . how i can market in internet fast real fast.I am ready to spare some of my time .I want a residual sorce of income .I dont have money to spend on buying e-books.
This is great startup internet company - and nothing similar exists in the market. We need an angel investor or line of credit. Getting seen by investors and taken seriously by a bank is the challenge.
