internet marketing reports Question And Answer
Media... where do people get their TV news?
I was wondering around the internet and found this site:
http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?PageID=834
granted, everything on the internet is not fact... what do you people think of it...
overview... Fox news is higest rated... but only owns 25 percent of the market overall...
CNN is at 22... networks overall at 34 percent (each being around 16/17 percent each)... MSNBC, CNBC at around 10 percent each...
so if everything is liberal... except for fox... "liberals" who watch the other channels make up 75 percent of the population?

I watch mostly local stations for my news. I watch a few segments on Fox News, but mostly its my local stations.
FOX NEWS IS NUMBER ONE?
are you kidding me? There good but not that good.
I ALWAYS watch CNN if I need to know the news or breaking news.
But I usually also watch the local NBC news at 5:00 and NBC Nightly news.
good ole BBC
CBS makes up their own news. Look at the phony stories about President Bush.
good facts.. thanks for that x
Fox News. It's the best place. CNN was running segments on Mel Gibson while Fox News was talking about Israel.
The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Those are the only news programs that are REAL!!!! .lol
TVs news???? mostly ON the t.v.
I watch my local ABC channel news until 7am, and then I watch the TODAY show on NBC. I don't hardly watch the evening news.
Anyone who thinks the "press" is liberal hasn't watched a newscast since September 2001.
PBS or BBC
I personally watch Fox News because it isn't "liberal". I think that most people in America are more liberal than not. Not that there is anything wrong with that. My husband is in the Army so I like to watch the Iraq coverage on Fox. I am not sure if they are more "pro military" or not, it just seems that they have better coverage.
I get my news from the internet...alternative media sources.
But I watch CNN, FOX, and MSNBC so I can keep up with the propaganda.
Wow, great link. Pew is very distinguished and reputed to be nonpartisan.
To address your summarizing comment, "liberals" very well may make up 75% of the population. Is everything besides Fox necessarily liberal? I don't consider myself liberal or conservative, but conservatives would call me liberal. That said, I've heard some crap on the "liberal" channels that made me wonder if the media outlets aren't all tools of the corporate oppressor. Feels kinda like 1984. Anyone familiar with Newspeak?
I get my news from 3 sources. The first is C-SPAN and my local newspaper. The third is probably the best place to get the news its called "The Week" Its a news magazine that has information on business, books, art and some good cartoons. It also contains news from foreign newspapers like the Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy. It also contains news in the US too. Its a great news magazine.
Heres a link (im not trying to sell it, but it is a good magazine)

I watch that old coot Bob Schieffer. I don't know if I will watch once Katie comes in.
