internet marketing project Question And Answer

i am planning to go to New Orleans in mid-December. Can anyone point me to volunteer work I could do ?

I am not really looking to gut houses, and I am looking for something that I can do for 3-4 days. I am skilled in marketing/advertising and on the internet. I am also very artisitic and good with kids. Can anyone point me to a way to find a project or something specifically that you know of?

There are several books about "FREE $$$, Gov. Grants" for just about anything! Look for books by Matthew Lesko! There will be information you could use to get headed that way!Every now and then he has a TV commercial dressed in a suit w/$ signs all over it and you see him chasing around Government men who I guess do not want you to know his methods! I might suggest going to “google.com” and start entering words with “volunteer” included! With alternate words to narrow down your search! Both the above may help you get the money needed to start a program down there to do what your heart wants!!! Good Luck!
Ok New Orleans still needs help with advertising and getting their businesses back up and running. If you would contact the local Red Cross down there they could probably point you in the right direction to get the advertising these businesses back up and running which would in turn make it a profitable city once again. I think what you are trying to do is wonderful & I would do it if I were able
go to their salvation army they can always use your help.
HABITATE FOR HUMANITY!!! You can volunteer to help rebuild homes. If you don't have "Construction" knowledge, you can still pick up a paint brush or roller and help.
Check with the local churches, they have good ideas what is needed and where it is needed. My church has been doing our mission work in Mississippi via the local churches, with great results.
yes help out at the schools in your area.or hospital
red cross would be a good start.
Pick up a directory and call all children social service programs. Include places like for children that can't talk, are in foster care or group homes, boy scouts/girl scouts, domestic violence programs, sexual assault programs. It's amazing how art can be used to open up a child's mind and heart.
