internet marketing info Question And Answer

Should Politicians Sponsors be shown during debates and commercials?

We're not just electing a person, we're also electing to put their lobbyist/sponsors in power, the public has a right to know who's footing their bills, do you agree? I want to know where Obama's $$$ are coming from, "The Middle East?" What Corporations? Is there some website that tracks this info? is Hillary promoting a stronger economy via a Global market/internet? Looks like it? Is McCain going to pass out Budweiser? I want to know! But seriously we need the public to be fully aware of who's calling the shots domestic, and internationally. Maybe they should have their Corporate logos sewn on their jackets?

Great question. Yes.

Somewhat colorful way of putting it, but I agree. Candidates should be required to disclose all corporate donations they recieve--BEFORE the election.
Do it exactly like Nascar. If they pony up money to help you out, THEY get to dictate where and how their connection to you is advertised. Taking millions from tobacco? You're now the Marlboro man or woman, with a red jacket and "Marlboro" stitched on the back. Pandering to unions? You get a big AFL/CIO logo on your breast. I think it'd be amusing to watch our politicians switch to jumpsuits so they have enough room to advertise who's buying their position for them.
Geez Bigsky stole my thunder. Yes it certainly would be nice to know who is going to pull their strings. Maybe a Brandon Iron would work. I also liked Bigs website. I just wish it was a little more current. But it does give one an idea of who supports Dems vs. Reps. Even during the debates we could have their sponsors and donor names rolling across the screen. Very good question! I think they need to work on the primary process also. I haven't got to vote yet and it is pretty much over.
