internet marketing info Question And Answer

Need info for possible move to Toronto. Help?

I will be graduating from University in North Carolina in May. I was born in Ontario, but have spent much of my life living in the US. I am considering moving back to Toronto within the next year, and need some help on which parts of the city I should look at for housing. I would prefer a studio or 1 bedroom for somewhere between 600 and 900 per month. Is this even possible if I want to be close to the subway but away from Regent Park or Jane&Finch? If possible, it would be a great help to have an idea about utility costs as well, including cable and internet. Also, what's the job market like in the city? I will have a Bachelor's degree in a Liberal Arts field, and am curious about my odds for finding a decent job. Nothing specific, just curious about the availability of jobs for people holding degrees. I'm really just looking for a vague overview. Thanks for your time.

I live outside opf Toronto and commute in every day. My knowledge of the city and surrounding 'burbs is to say that rent at that level may be a challenge (bottom end is highly unlikely) however take a look here for rental information: http://www.rentersnews.ca/ and here for job information: http://www.workopolis.ca/
There's options, you could live in the sub-urbs of Toronto. But you won't be anywhere near the sub-way. And I'm almost positive that the subway doesn't go as far as Jane and Finch. anything below 800 and your pushing it, your not likely to find anything decent for under that. The good thing is that the buses connect to the subway and the subway connects to the trolly, so transits good that way. You can try living in Mississauga, Brampton Scarborough or North York too, especially if you want to save on rent.
You need to move AROUND the city, like to Pickering, 'Sauga, or Newmarket. This place has turned into Canada's cesspool while you were gone.
